This video from 1958 by the Walt Disney comp. provides some astounding promises for the future of what the interstate would have promised in 1956. Interestingly enough they were well aware of concepts of solar power and atom fusion as the video points out, but not much has happened on that front. Can we thank Exxon and General Motors for that?

The Big O. is on the cover of the new Economist. I think its a powerful cover, but it also has an awkward “Matrix” kind-a-feel to it.
