I always had a thing for Eames chairs. Arne Jacobsen isn’t half bad either. These compositions by Monica Scürle compliment the furnity in a very minimalist and Scandinavian way with light interiors and large windows, where furniture adds the warmth to the room. (plastolux)
‘Before stepping down from Maison Martin Margiela this month, the Belgian designer was looking within. Not only did he launch a collection of furniture and “white objects” for the home, like this beautiful embroidered calendar, he also designed the Suite Ile aux Oiseaux at Les Sources de Caudalie near Bordeaux. The W Hotel in Downtown was designed by the Canadian firm Burdifilek. They attempt to keep a a southern feel as well as their usual cosmopolitan style.
