I think one of my favorite arguments against gay rights would have to be this (true story btw):
-You should treat others how you would like to be treated. Would you like people to treat you poorly just because of your sexual orientation?
-Yes, because If I was sinning, I would want people to try to stop me, and tell me I’m wrong.

This was good though. I still am in utter disbelief that Prop 8 passed…it is one of the most selfish things I have seen done in a long time. I feel like a big portion of this can be contributed to religion…don’t even get me started on that. So much for separation of church and state. I just love how people want to keep marriage holy. Straight people can pull up into the drive through chapel in Vegas, drunk, and get married. Straight people can have multiple divorces in their lifetime. 20 year old girls can marry 80 year old millionaires and collect their wealth upon death. Marriage is just a socially constructed idea and should not be limited to only heterosexual couples. End of story.
