‘Previewed are the three upcoming colorways of Vans’ Zapato del Barco (Spanish for ‘Boat Shoe’), all part of the brand’s California range for Fall/Winter 2010. Black, Olive, and Dune versions are offered, all taking on a solid makeup of nubuck uppers. Look for these in July 2010 via finer Vans California stockists.’
A sneaker inspired by recently popular military boots. Interestingly, the sole is the same that van Assche used for his sandals, and they prove very versatile. In the same way the silhouette of the shoe is borrowed from his earlier high tops. Ssense offers these very wearable, but also slightly pricey shoes for around $565.
